# MLINO (ملینو)

> MLINO is a neighbourhood platform from Iran that connects people with the local businesses around them, and gives small businesses a simple panel to show their storefront, products and offers to people nearby. The interface is in Persian (Farsi) and five other languages (English, Arabic, Turkish, Spanish, German).

MLINO has two versions:

- **MLINO app (ملینو)** — for people looking for places nearby: cafés, restaurants, shops, bakeries, pharmacies and clinics on a map, their active discounts, a "live storefront" camera view (augmented reality: point the phone and nearby businesses appear on the image with distance, rating and offer), chat with a business, and saving products. Free; no sign-up is needed to look around. Location is used only on the person's own phone for distances.
- **MLINO Business panel (پنل کسب‌وکار ملینو)** — for business owners: build the storefront (photos, opening hours, address), add products and prices, publish offers to people nearby, answer customer chats and see ratings. Nothing is published without the owner's approval.

Current status: public demo. The businesses, products and offers shown are fictional test data.
